Hitachi P50S602

Hitachi P50S602 is a full HD1080p Plasma HDTV 50" in size.  Released in May 2008, this TV has good value for money considering it's only $1,700. It has PictureMaster™ HD VI Processor and  Full HD1080P (1920 x 1080 Resolution) which means that this television can display images that are significantly sharper and more realistic than regular televisions, as long as the source is high definition such as Blu-Ray DVD.

 One problem is that it only has rear connections. This TV is suited for home theater, which makes it ideal for DVD movies recorded in the popular 16:9 format.  Considering it's specs and price point, this TV is suited for families or individuals who value high quality display for movies and entertainment, but won't satisfy those that demand top quality and are willing to pay for it.
