Insignia NS-PDP42

The NS-PDP42 is a 42" plasma HDTV. Like many of Insignia's high-end TVs, the NS-PDP42 has a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio that makes for cinema-style visuals. This TV is also equipped with cinema 3:2 pulldown, which creates a more accurate reproduction of film-based sources.

There are also two zoom viewing modes that allow you to enhance your viewing experience, depending on the content. The five picture status modes are standard, movie, sports, music and TBA (has to be defined by the user), so that you will have the best possible picture for any given content. The XD Engine technology delivers lush image detail, as well as detailed color. The twenty watt speaker system with SRS TruSurround has bass and treble controls and five sound modes (normal, stadium, music, theater and TBA) that let you fine tune your virtual surround sound experience. This system also has an auto voume leveler that prevents jumps in sound, an ideal feature for night viewing. The Insignia NS-PDP42 comes with a one year parts and labor warranty.
