Product Shot 1The LG 50PC5D is a discontinued, 50” plasma HDTV featuring built-in ATSC/NTSC/QAM tuners for receiving over-the-air digital broadcast signals and unscrambled digital cable. As an improvement over the original 50PC3D, the 50PC5D uses LG’s Clear Filter Pro technology and an XD engine to deliver improved brightness (1500 cd/m2), contrast (15,000:1), detail and color.

Plus it also hosts Extreme Contour Compensation (XCC), which minimizes contour noise, thereby allowing for higher quality images. As for connectivity, the LG 50PC5D follows its predecessor’s versatile selection by including HDMI, Composite, Component and S-Video ports. Plus it comes with a remote and is RS-232c ready.
