LG 50PG20
$1,599.00
Released May, 2008
The Pros:Colors are well rendered and have a good degree of realism. Piano black finish looks striking even when the set is off. Ready to go out of the box, little to no setup required.
The Cons:Sound is noticeably weak, will need an external sound system. Movement gets blurry quickly, doesn't even have to be action shots or sports. SD broadcasts are very grainy and look poor, even some DVDs look bad.
The PG20 Series from LG is their 2008 entry level line of plasma televisions and feature a native 720p resolution. For more information refer to the full LG PG20 Series report.

mediaboss:
#lg_50pg20 Contrast ratio is actually 30 000:1, not 20 000:1

Another note about 720p/1080i (which this TV offers), unless you have BluRay, it's perfect for ExpressVu/Rogers/Videotron High Definition TV since they only offer 720p.
