LG 60PS11
$1,800.00
Released April, 2009
The Pros:Tough to beat the price. A nice looking TV with decent features. Full HD 1080p Resolution.
The Cons:Does not have full glass screen like last year's 60PG60 (higher end model). No THX. Poor manual.
The LG 60PS11 is a 60" Full HD 1080p Plasma HDTV from LG's 2009 PS series. It has a feature set very similar to the LG 60PS60 but does not have the single-layer panel that makes the panel look like a single pane of glass nor does it have THX Display certification.

With the exception of these two features the 60PS11 appears to be very similar to the slightly more feature-rich 60PS60. It has 3 HDMI ports for digital input and a USB 2.0 port for displaying photos or playing music from a memory stick. It has 2 ISF calibration modes for professional image calibration.

Squibbles:
#lg_60ps11 Yeah it does seem like it has been discontinued. Seems weird since I think the "PS" series is this year's model. Did they just do a limited run of them for some reason?
I had planned to buy this TV and the store ordered one in for me from LG but were told it was no longer being manufactured, I had to get the 60PS60 instead.

Squibbles:
#lg_60ps11 Reviews I've seen around the web have been quite positive for this TV. According to retail store "Visions" in Canada this TV is no longer being shipped by LG. I had placed an order for this TV through the store but they were unable to get it. I had to pay a little extra and get an LG 60PS60 instead.
It is quite heavy at 117lbs though I currently have an Olevia 747i (47" LCD TV) and it actually weighs over 120lbs without the stand so the weight is not overly surprising to me. To say nothing of my old 32" CRT TV that weighed in at 140lbs.
