Panasonic VIERA TC-P50V10
$2,300.00
Released May, 2009
The Pros:Anti-glare screen coating is fairly effective - provides significant reduction of light-related blurring, especially in instances of extensive natural light. Little to no motion artefacts, even amongst fast-paced content - action movies and live sports are considerably well-represented as compared to LCD equivalents. Overall picture quality is excellent - deep black levels, vivid color levels and off-axis viewing are notable features.
The Cons:Not recommended for extensive video game use - image retention issues can cause static graphics (health bars, etc.) to leave imprints on the screen for days or weeks. Select networking features (like Amazon Video On Demand) can be very sluggish at times - interface is seemingly prone to long load/buffer times regardless of the user's internet connection.
The VIERA V10 Series is Panasonic's line of high-end plasmas that contain all the high-end technologies introduced in 2009. For more information refer to the full VIERA V10 Series report.
