Pioneer Kuro PDP-6010FD

$6,500.00 Released September, 2007

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Black levels are as good as any plasma, deep and detailed without washing out. Plenty of connectivity options, works with everything. Controls are very simple, no real learning curve.

The Cons:Gives off a noticeable amount of heat, not terribly energy efficient. Sound from the speakers is only passable, purchasers of something this high-end will want to expand with a home theater system. Need to be careful about proper break-in to avoid image retention or burn in.

The PDP-6010FD is the new 60" Plasma for Pioneer's 2007 lineup. The 60 inch contains all of the same features and technology of the PDP-5010FD with just a larger display size to separate the two. This means the 6010FD contains all the same improvements made to the 2007 line including new technology to enhance picture quality, better support of 24Hz content with the PureCinema mode, and four HDMI 1.3 inputs.
