Samsung PN50B540

$1,499.00 Released April, 2009

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Picture is great out of the box, may not need any calibration. Sound is reasonable quality, can hear the actors speaking clearly. No buzzing sound, complete silence from the unit when muted.

The Cons:Audio is slightly under-powered, needs an external audio system for larger rooms. Suffers from the backlight buzz common to all '09 Samsung plasmas. Image retention issues - common to most plasmas, but especially noticeable on this model.
