The 2009 Plasma 8 Series is Samsung's 2009 expansion to their plasma display line-up, introducing this new flagship line that distinguishes itself with its ultra-thin design. Coming in at just over an inch thick (1.1") Samsung claims that these sets are the thinnest plasmas for the first half of 2009 that contain a built-in TV tuner.
