Samsung PN58B650

$2,333.97 Released March, 2009

Product Shot 1 The Pros:"Burn-in" and image retention issues common to many plasma screens are virtually non-existent - frozen screen image disappears within seconds. Off-axis color accuracy is remarkable - performs much better than LCD/LED competitors. Overall HD picture quality is top notch - easily rivals competitors from all other leading brands.

The Cons:Some models emit a loud, constant buzzing sound - may be tricky to exchange/refund a faulty unit. Built-in speakers lack depth/clarity - external speaker configuration is highly recommended. Stock brightness/contrast levels are excessively bright - calibration disc is recommended to avoid time-consuming manual adjustment.

The 2009 Plasma 6 Series is Samsung's update to their high-end line of Plasma displays that offer a 1080p resolution alongside extra features such as expanded Internet connectivity. For more information refer to the full Plasma Series 6 report.
